Best Practice Guides

Creating a Safer Future Through Research and Innovation

SHIFT will publish a special edition open-source Best Practices Guide each year. These Guides serve as a resource for professionals to be used in the field—creating awareness and providing training for practices that are accessible, relevant, and efficient.

Best practices are developed directly from editor-selected, peer-reviewed research by the researchers themselves with the guidance of experienced practitioners. Each and every practice is designed specifically for use in the field available as written guides and, as appropriate, further developed into visual training material.

We intend to bridge the gap between research and practical application through collaboration and partnership of academic study and experience. A dedicated committee of experienced practitioners will guide the development of studies into practical procedures and strategies.

If you are interested in submitting research to be developed into practice, you are encouraged to read and review the Author Guidelines for submission requirements and submit your work for review.
